tomatoes, banana peppers, yellow crookneck squash, thyme, oregano, mint, and thai basil.
I harvested the very last tomatoes of the summer the other day. Despite the heat, I'm still pretty sad to see summer slip away. I can't believe it's already August first...fall will be here before we know it.
Tomorrow, we're heading down to Austin to spend a few days with my family. I hope you all have a wonderful rest of the week, and weekend.

Your garden is so admirable!
This evening I noticed that a few of the leaves on the maple outside my kitchen nook window were a bright yellow. But I think I might be ready for fall, and some of my mother's hearty stew recipes.
